Coming all the way from America, the renowned Jabberwock street basketball team arrives in Japan to face off against Strky, a team comprised of former third-year students who have played in prestigious tournaments such as the Interhigh and Winter Cup. Despite their impressive basketball skills, Jabberwock easily outshines their opponents, leaving no doubt about their superiority. The team’s captain, Nash Gold Jr., takes the opportunity to demean the Japanese players by comparing them to monkeys, much to the anger and frustration of everyone present.
Determined to restore their pride and prove their worth, Kagetora Aida steps forward and challenges Jabberwock to a revenge match. Despite Nash’s confidence in their inevitable victory, he accepts the challenge, underestimating the determination and skill of the Japanese players. Kagetora decides to form a team called Vorpal Swords, bringing together the Generation of Miracles, including Kuroko Tetsuya and Kagami Taiga, as they are the only ones capable of standing up against the seemingly unbeatable Jabberwock team.
